Giant Hogweed By-law

The County of Dufferin has passed a bylaw that designates Giant Hogweed (Heracleum Mantegazzianum) as a local weed and it is deemed a noxious weed pursuant to the Weed Control Act. The County is currently awaiting the approval of the Chief Weed Inspector and once received, the County will be enforcing the bylaw. An ad will be placed in the local papers once the approval has been received.
