Dufferin Oaks is a 160 bed NON-PROFIT Long Term Care Centre owned & operated by the County of Dufferin, under the standards established by the Ministry of Health.

Dufferin County Council appoints a Committee of Management that has the ultimate responsibility for the health, welfare and safety of the residents.

The home is a three-storey facility, centrally located in the County of Dufferin, in the Town of Shelburne.  Each home area, of 32 residents, fosters a comfortable home-like setting. 

The Committee of Management and staff of Dufferin Oaks strive to provide optimum quality care, services, and programs.  The dedicated staff and volunteers contribute to making the centre a pleasant place to live. 

Dufferin Oaks is a member of the "Ontario Association of Non-Profit Homes and Services for Seniors"(OANHSS).
