Growth Management Study - Phase I - Appendices
Phase 1 of this project examines the Countys and area municipalities existing capacity to accommodate growth. This involves an examination of the study areas natural and socio-economic environment; recent historical growth; growth potentials on existing plans and approved designations; infill and intensification opportunities; and infrastructure and servicing constraints. Phase 1 focuses upon a 'big-picture' assessment of the growth issues, constraints, and priorities affecting Dufferin County and a discussion of growth options. Maps highlighting existing natural features, agricultural information, land uses and road networks will be presented at the Open House. The purpose of the Open House is to provide the public with a comprehensive understanding of the Countys Growth Management Study; to listen to your ideas and concerns regarding growth; to obtain your input regarding the work done and to outline the next steps of the study.
